Naylor-Thornton

It was indeed a dark and stormy Day, the rain it came down in torrents but Saltburn by Sea shone as Kirsty alighted from her horse and carriage into a plethora of heralded umbrellas. St Emmanuel's Church glowed from within with warmth and music. The Choir sang very tunefully to the accompanying guitarist while the Guest bellowed in song as maestro Mike played the churches magnificent Organ with gusto. Darren, supported by the lads, stood shaken but not visibly stirred looking into the eyes of one of England's most beautiful Brides, that is, until the Vicar said. "You may kiss the bride" What passion! What delicate deliverance! Mr & Mrs Darren Thornton, Man and Wife. Meanwhile outside the day got darker the wind stronger and the rain wetter than ever, it was that fine fretful seaside rain that swept into every corner, soaking one instantly. The photographs having been taken inside at near maximum ASA film speed afterwards saw us dashing for the highlights of Gisborough Hall.

Joy-Plews

A day of beautiful dresses, colour and smiles, the sun shone as the bride truly radiated warmth and happiness. New Marske Parish Church burst into song drowning out the organ, this was a gathering of wedding guest full of enthusiastic friends and family. Everything went to plan, the service was a tranquil moment for reflection in which the marriage blessing united both parents and the Bride and Groom into a moment of thankfulness for such a happy day. James and I enjoyed every moment, the banter, the smiles and good harmony from all involved energised Grinkle Park into a party and a wedding reception to remember.

Gilpin-Murray

Wonderful people a beautiful Bride and the perfect location, the Tree Bridge. Truly a magic moment as Lucy gleefully said yes to Mr Tony Murray, a man that enjoyed every moment. The family smiled as the pictures captured a moment to remember, a day when the rain held off and the flowers blossomed. Thanks Lynda you have a lovely family.

Shaw-Wright

A Yorkshire wedding day in the rain did not dampen the spirits of the Bride as she radiated warmth and beauty all around her, this uplifted everyones hearts least of all Giles the Groom when he captured a glimpse of his beautiful Bride to be Nicola, as she walked up the magnificent St Nicolas Church aisle in Guisborough. We managed to get the best out of the day, capturing the photographs in the brief intervals between the heavy showers. Indeed again, the Bride smiled and with Giles attention to detail for keeping her dress dry, we enjoyed the most delightful of days within the best of company. Some of whom had travelled from as from as far away as Canada to attend, sorry about the weather but Albert and Doreen gave you a real Yorkshire wedding.

Myers-Cherry

Jennifer Myers made the photographers day, everything was organised to perfection from the beautiful Keira to the extremely well turned out Groom Paul. Who supported by Jordan and his best man Stuart attended eagerly to the registrars details before waiting patiently for the ceremony to begin. Indeed their reward was the arrival of the stunning Bride who sincerely, sold the hearts of all the men that day, lucky Paul. Gisborough Hall resplendent in her grand setting made for the perfect wedding setting on a blustery late spring afternoon. All 80 guests played their part attending for the group photos while the Bride and Groom once married were inseparable. A lovely day amongst lovely people, one on which the Cherry and the Myers united as a family.

Moran-Lillystone

Anne the Bride and Jenny her Bridesmaid were full of excitement as I arrived at the house, while Alexander resplendent in his morning suit looked on as my camera captured the moment. Later Sean, having arrived at the magnificent Tall trees in his Aston Martin was overcome with the beauty of his Bride, for indeed her dress, complemented by her make up and flowers gifted all the wedding Guest with powerful and romantic memories to take home with them. As for Jenny, emblazoned with her flaming red hair went on to brightened the whole day for everyone with her wit and good humor, while at the same time looking after the Bride with perfection. It was a day full of memories and emotion, especially as Alexander took the hand of his mother and handed it over to his new father Sean. Later that day, as they all hugged the joy of the day was completed with a magic moment in seeing the three families joining together as one in family fellowship, a happy ever after story for everyone that attended.

Maude-Ward

Kerry Maude with her rich ebony hair and crystal blue eyes stepped from her limousine, a day blessed with brilliant sunshine and into the waiting arms of her husband to be Richard Ward. Indeed, he to was one of the most blessed men in England to behold such a magnificent Bride. Her beauty stunned us all, her smile so delicate and her glance that sparkled with mischief and excitement. The Guests joined in the wedding service at St Cuthbert's Church Kirkleatham which did not have a spare seat within. While the Maestro upon the powerful church Organ heralded the Wedding to a crescendo, the happy couple signed the register and the day flowed on with gusto. Quickly, as the guest poured out of the church the family groups were captured. Then onward we traveled to the festivities at Gisborough Hall where drinks and a table full of sweets & chocolates amused the families accompanied by the playing of the gentle harp, this music ebbed and flowed with the tinkling of champaign glasses True love

Sheppard-Frazer

While the rest of England was covered in storm Clouds, East Cleveland managed sunshine with the occasional showers. The Service and the reception were held at Grinkle Park, this most tranquil of picturesque setting formed a wonderful back drop to the wedding of Mark and Nicola. Nicola looked refined and radiant, her beautiful blond hair and tiara framed her face highlighting a porcelain complexion punctuated by that fantastic smile. It seems like yesterday that I photographed the wedding of the grooms parents, Fran & Richard, today Mark stood tall and proud indeed a family occasion. Later as the wind blow and we dodged the rain showers, the Bridesmaids Heather and Becky looked after the Bride with attention to detail, while Laura and Emma naturally came very close to stealing the show. Finally I managed my pictures in the late afternoon sunshine of Mark and Nicola and captured the emotion of the day, a day of such highlight and contrast I was thankful I still used film.

Richardson-Nation

The day blossomed in the North Yorkshire Town of Loftus as the bustle of activity in Town House Farm echoed with shouts of joy and laughter, soon the Bride was ready. Serene, tall, blest with a vision of beauty Hazel's elegance brought tears of joy into the eyes of her father Henry. While at the Church Father Tim was with gusto organising the service to perfection, a place for everything and indeed Oliver the Groom in his place. The guests were in good spirit and so colourful while the Usher ever present of their purpose performed their duties with vigor. The Bride arrive and the moment of the wedding was a triumph of planning. Then, as Oliver took hold of Hazel's hand upon the alter of St Leonard's Church in the foot hills of the of the National Park, a day was made to remember. We breakfasted at Grinkle Park within their new banqueting suit, where the food, the location and the grounds added to the celebration, giving space and depth to the day for Mr & Mrs Oliver Nation.

McGlade-Smith

Today was the best of days for Matthew, also the most emotional of his life as he took the hand of Vikki at the Wainstones Hotel Gt Broughton. The day was a delight warm and bright indeed so was the Bride as her day unfolded she was helped by the effervescent Nichola and Helen, while the flower girls Amber, Georgia, Maddie and Megan who all came very close to stealing the show. However, Vikki's smile as she entered the wedding room was a brilliant where upon, Matthew emotional to the last managed his vows as all in the room took part in a hearty response to the question 'Will you support the Bride and Groom "We Will" From that moment the Bride and Groom were relaxed in the arms of friends and family. A day for Pride and enjoyment, a day when we all saw the boy we have watch grow up with so much energy become a man naturally with a lot of help from Vikki. To Howard and Elaine well done and to Chris and Clive, thank heaven for little girls, for today we saw two people very much in love.

Bilton-Lillystone

On a day when the sun shone and the guests were relaxed within the tranquility of Pinchinthorpe Hall, the gorgeous Catherine Bilton married her man Jeffrey. Everyone was impressed by Joseph and George who helped Mum to the magic moment of her marriage to Daddy. We all enjoyed the Gardens and the Champaign under the backdrop of Roseberry Topping. The simplicity of the wedding and the very colorful dresses of the ladies all added to energies the whole occasion which was punctuated by humor and the delight of my pictures, where Angela's glistening smile melted my heart and that over every man there, indeed this was a very happy day and an occasion to remember.

Almond-Hall

On a day, with a cloudless sky in turquoise blue and a sun that shone from dawn till dusk. Borthwick Castle, seated within the hills of Midlothian above Edinburgh was the place where Adrian looked into the eyes of Rebecca and said "I do". It was a thrilling exciting day with lots to discover, as we climbed 97 steps to the very top of the castle where the wedding took place. Once the family were gathered within, the Piper heralded the arrival of the Bride, her rich pencil slim dress highlighted her every move towards Adrian, moments later they were married. In lighting a candle together 'The Minister' pronounced with a strong Scottish lilt them to be Man & Wife. The cascade of guests down the stone spiral stairs out into the grounds added to the moments of discovery and enjoyment, then amongst the colour of beautiful dresses and hats I arranged the family photos. Soon, the Bride and Groom were walking down a country lane where Rebecca in hand with her new husband enjoyed a moment alone.

Rose-Cotten

Oh what a lovely day, the Summer thunder storms time themselves beautifully while we sang in the magnificent All Saints Church of Hutton Rudby, without the rain poured then, as the Bride and Groom left church the sun shone as it did for the group pictures at Craythorne Hall. Sarah was a delightful bouncing Bride, with a smile that shone for England indeed, Stuart matched Sarah's energy with vigour. Everyone at the wedding seemed to enjoy the occation from Church Choir singing the aria to the chauffeur popping the Champaign cork as the happy couple look their leave. Craythorne seated within its wondrous landscape energised the Bride and Groom's 'on location' pictures and the family groups adding to the captured moment within the bright afternoon sunlight. Big thanks to the Bridesmaids for managing the dress in the early rain and to Steven the best man for ensuring the Groom and the church were ready to receive such a beautiful Bride. This was definitely the best days trading ever!

Anderson-Jones

Upon the hottest day of the year, Aislaby Parish Church hosted one of the most exquist of North Yorkshire weddings. Claire the Bride with her dark hair, English rose polcilain skin and a wonderfull smile, energised the day with a sparkle within her deep ebony eyes, indeed Darren could not have had a brighter more sunlit day to take the hand of such a beautiful women. As the church service burst into song at the celebration of Darren and Claire's marrage, I looked outside beyond the Lynch gate to see the heat melting the tar upon the road. Thereafter, as the wedding guests poured out into the church grounds the atmosphere was electric, cameras and flashes popping at every moment, couples sipping on cold refreshing bottles of water while I, energised by the thought of a cold beer at Gisborough Hall set about capturing the family groups. Throughout the day I must congratulate Claire and Darren for their relaxed and gentle nature, a pleasure to film and a day to treasure as a magic moment.

Rowlands-Hamilton

The Headlands of Marske by Sea commanding the River Tees Basin was the backdrop to Jayne and her Bridesmaids climbing into their White Rolls Royce to take the Bride on to the waiting hand of Karl who, like any Groom was nervous sat in the Blue Room of Rushpool Hall at Saltburn in anticipation of the moment when he would look in to the eyes of his future wife Jayne and say "I Do" Rushpool with it magnificent Park Landscape provided the opportunity for lots of different locations to capture the Bride and Groom together. The family groups were quickly taken which allowed the reception to unfold and the Bride and Groom to enjoy the fine hospitality and romance of the day in the company of excited friends and family. Must mention how beautiful the bride looked on the day with her very exciting smile.

Lambert-Baker

The day sailed by as Caroline and Martyn took their Vows upon the magnificent ship The Trincomalee in Hartlepool by Sea at the historic quay. The Bride full of energy and exciment walked up the gang plank with ease, her dress flowing in the breeze, moments later Nole the proud father with David and Geraldine looking on supporting their son, gave to Martyn the most beautiful of girls to become his wife. Dave the best man looked very nervous, though once his duty was performed and the ring was safly upon Caroline's hand, thereafter the whole captains cabin full of people took a gasp of breath as the Bride and Groom kissed in a moment of achivemnent. The celebrations moved on to The Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington whereupon the the historical trappings of the wedding ceromony were sumounted by the activitites of drinking fine ales and wines to the delight of the family and friends who made this a very special day for the happy couple.

Proctor-Cornforth

Karen the bride with her energetic smile and James a man so obviously very much in love with his beautiful new wife enjoyed their wedding day amongst their well wishing guests. The weather was very kind and the day full of energy. The wonderful restored Stainton Parish Church was filled to capacity as Karen and James made their vows to each other supported by their Bridesmaids and Ushers while Martin, the best man, stood eagerly in anticipation awaiting his moment, well done. Indeed is was a wedding supported by friends, one in which some had travelled around the world to attend this traditional North Yorkshire wedding founded upon three words. "I Love You" indeed a day and a moment we will remember for many years to come as a very special occasion.

Cowell-Cottrell

Looking out, across the early morning landscape of Grinkle Park and on into a cloudless deep blue sky, this being illuminated by a traversing sun which highlighted the backdrop for a perfect summers day and a location for the wedding of Vicky and Roy. The Bride was stunning, tall with a dress that radiated the figure of a Grecian goddess and a smile which punctuated the day with magic moments of joy. Indeed the whole day was magic, from dawn till dusk the family and friends soon realised that they had all taken part in a very special wedding. Well done Roy, no man in England married a more beautiful lady this day and no photographer enjoyed the occasion more in capturing two people very much in love. On a commercial note. Miller-Sievert

The first page of the wedding Album opened as Joy arrived at the foot of Saltburn's majestic St Emmanuel’s Parish Church in Saltburn by Sea. While upon the high alter, Robert Sievert, awaited that wonderful moment in his Bride to be, walking up the Aisle to create their future life together as man and wife. Joy's dress was dynamic, bright and within its design a soft touch of colour that highlighted her elegance. That darting mischievous smile of Joy's soon became infectious punctuating the occasion in a glow of happiness. For those that know the Sievert's, you will all know it is their simplicity and willingness to give of their best that allowed the unification of these two families to be a treasure that will support Robert and Joy in the years ahead. I think also a mention is required for Rob's brave little sister Victoria, in giving her Piano performance within the church. I think Grandma Rose would have loved that moment. Indeed, thank you for letting me capture your day, Philip

Murray-Thompson

That morning, as the wind and rain swept in from the North over the small Yorkshire Village of Marske by sea, everyone felt a little apprehensive about how the weather would effect the day. Enter Deborah the Bride who bounced with a smile that illuminated everyone she looked at, sweeping the inclemency of the day aside with her warmth. Deborah was magnificent, as indeed was the Church of St Marks, full of fragrance form the wonderful display of flowers that filled every corner, every pillar and Alter pedestal. Therefore, as the Bride took her first step up the Aisle towards Scott he, being so resplendent in his suit and standing pose adorned with a magnificent gold watch chain and fob, 'it was the time'. With Farther David to lead the service, we all took joy in our hearts singing the hymns. As we nestled within that moment the day without, was forgotten. The three beautiful Bridesmaids being so elegant in their blue dresses balanced the stature of the Bestman and Ushers, well done Sue

Kendra and Stephen

With great attention to detail Stephen with his Best man arrived at the resplendent Grinkle Park Hotel, located deep within the North Yorkshire National Park. Photographs were taken while the Bride enjoyed the occasion of getting ready within one of the Hotels magnificent bedroom complete with 4 poster bed. All too soon the guest were assembled within, enter Kendra, her smile was magnificent, her pose and grace, her perfume, her dress a pleasure to behold, after 3000 wedding I still get emotional in such beauty. I watched as she gracefully processed towards Stephen who with a twinkle in his eye looked at her throughout every moment of the wedding ceremony. We dashed through the groups as the early spring air brought goose bumps and shivers though the happy couple enjoyed the quick run around the park and back into the warmth of the hotel. The Bridesmaid energy, good looks and humor was wonderful, no matter how much the girls had tried to look their best it was the Bride who shone today

Radigan-Jackson at Guisborough Hall

Never has a Groom stood with such Love in his eyes as he married his beautiful Bride Amanda-Jane, while their enchanting little daughter Ella-Rose looked on. The Brides Father made the day with the immense attention to detail which was very much appreciated by the 140 family, friends and guests. After the 3pm wedding being dark outside, the Bride and Groom went on location within the fantastic surroundings of Gisborough Hall to be photographed while the guests enjoyed the Bar. Cumulatively, it was not long before everyone was gathered at the foot of the grand staircase for the last picture of the day, after-which the festivities began while the children slept, Cliff and Amanda made a lovely couple so energetic in their willingness to have their pictures taken while attending to the excited attention of the guests.

Noble-Severn at the Grinkle Park Hotel

The Bride, relaxed with an almost casual regard welcomed me to photographer her in perfection at home, she made us all feel wonderful and such a pleasure to enjoy her moment before the wedding. Andrew at the Hotel was busy seeing to the registrar and the guest arriving, first one, then another in the hustle and bustle of the occasion. Indeed the new master of ceremony at Grinkle was seen to be very keen to clear the guest into the wedding room before the Bride arrived on time, and in a wonderful old Jag. This then was the backdrop to the wedding of Lesley to Andrew amongst lovely guest who enjoyed the fine weather and the hospitality of the tranquil setting of Grinkle Park. There was much humor and energy abound and within a relaxed style that is very much the Bride and Groom a wonderful day to remember unfolded highlighted by the pictures within.

Fryett-Gilpin at Gringle Park Hotel

While Daniel sat patiently within the Hotel, Lyndsey arrive in the most expensive of stretched limousines. Grinkle is nestled within the moors of the North Yorkshire National Park, it was open for a great day and, from the outset the relaxed atmosphere created by this, the most idilic of settings, was enhanced by the humor and excitement of all the guests gathered within. The Bride and Groom were nearly outplayed by their little girl Lilly who ran the day through, a little treasure. The guests made my photography very easy, participating with such energy, truly, this was a great bunch of folks to be with. Later, as we walked around the magnificent rustic grounds, the day unfolded into a warm sunlight dappled moment, where I captured a young couple very much in love upon the occasion of their marriage.

Painter-Garrett St Cuthberts Church Ormsby

Teresa's rich dark hair framed her pastel complection beautifully as the day unfolded, with galloping speed she was ready though a little anxious in anticipation of being on time, the younger bridesmaids danced around with excitment while the amazing Sarah Ridley laid a calming hand on the unfolding moments. If I may comment, Sarah was fare too good looking to be a bridesmaid. But, as my eyes fell upon the radience of the Bride I realised that the hour was Teresa's, princess of the day, not only for her beauty and her grace but rather her presence, so enriched by that enchanting smile. This Bride was a picture captured within a cutting wedding dress that we took forward to be joined in Matrimony to Jonathan Paul Garrett. A wonderful day bathed in rich sunlight warmed with the love and attention of their family and friends who, elevated by the Gisborough Hall Champaign joined in the festivities making this wedding so special in the hearts of all who took part.

Stoddart-Amer St Johns Church Egglescliff

Lindsey's smile greeted the day she lit up everyone around her, attending the Brides house I captured her anticipation in camera and along with the lovely Bridesmaids the day quickly began to unfold. At the church Nick was supported by his immaculate team of Ushers and his best man Guy, the stage was then set for the 220 guest to enjoy a simple and delightful service of which, I would like to mention the magnificent church choir who delivered the most perfect aria. Nick and Lindsey bounced down the isle with smiles and excitement on their happy faces. Hand in hand walking out through the church doors a resounding cheer and applause was given by the guest while cameras flashed from every angle. We all arrived at the Marton Country Club for the wedding breakfast having stopped off at the little park next to the hotel for pictures, a day when everyone took part with a luster and energy which matched by the joy in their parents happiness, I think Kevin and Barry earned their pint today

Fowell-Langley St Emmanuels Saltburn

Saltburn by Sea Parish Church was the backdrop to a wonderful occasion of Simone and Nick taking their wedding vows after which they cascaded down the church steps and on to the country retreat of Rushpool Hall which is set in the most magnificent of grounds. From the Rolls Royce Vintage car to the immaculately dressed Best Man and Groom, Simone had created a day full of perfect moments. As I put my camera down every one was a little disappointed that I had finished, such was the enjoyment everyone was taking from participating in the day. As for the Bride, a singularly beautiful girl and within the blink of an eye she soon became Nick's lady, he leaned forward taking her in his arms and boldly stated "I do" There was little doubt here was a couple who had planned the perfect day magnified by the attention of their friends and family.

Sykes-Howell Stainton Parish Church

A North Yorkshire Bride from Maltby, radiant within the wedding dress, her fair complexion beautiful, elevated by her smile and graceful gentle presence, indeed Richard was one of the most blessed men of August 2005 to be marring such a lovely girl as Nichola. The pews was full to bursting as the welcoming church bells rang out ushering in the Brides father with his daughter upon his confident arm, Malcolm processed dutifully to the alter with pride in his wife Kath for planning such a wonderful day as he give away their daughter to be married to Richard. Later as Mr and Mrs Richard Howell walked together down the aisle they were greeted by a reception of well wishers, within that moment as the newly married couple stepped out of the church together as Husband and Wife Richard lent over and kissed Niky to the joy and excitement of the on lookers, this then was the catalyst for a perfect day in the company of some fantastic people. Thank you yours Philip Chisholm

Miskin- Westbrook St Josephs Stokesley

Donna shone like the brightest star upon her wedding day, truly St Joseph's Church Stokesley had never witnessed a more prestigious wedding. Andy and his family arrived in the rain though when the Bride arrived the clouds lifted to reveal a beautiful Bride accompanied by her Grandfather Leonard Miskin, who dutifully gave her away within a wonderful ceremony. Indeed the Church and gardens had never looked better while the 122 family and friends enjoyed the group photography. The weather held off just long enough to see the Bride and Groom safely on their way in a magnificent vintage RR carriage. We captured some more pictures at Roseberry Topping, Cleveland's seated landmark before proceeding on to the Wainstones Hotel where the food and fine Ales were enjoyed by all.

Travill-Parkes at Sacred Heart Redcar

In the moment that Bamber took his delightful Miranda as his wife a shaft of sunlight kist them both through the ethereal west window. We all left the Abbey to the trumpet sound of the Organ and out under lances of the honor guard presenting a salute where upon, the Bride and Groom stepped out to a new life as husband and wife. The reception in the grounds of Bilsdale Priory like the day was perfect.

Davies-MacGregor

St Cuthbert’s Church Kirkleatham steeped in History and the celebrations of marriages looked wonderful as Catharine walked down the long sand stone Aisle, today Welsh, English and the Scots all came together as Catharine walk into the hand of her young man Mr Paul MacGregor. This then was a marriage blessed with music and joy as the two wonderful families uniting with friends gathered within. I marveled at Idris and Ann who one second conversed in Welsh the next in English, while the Rev Chris Greenwell performed a simple and enjoyable service under the magnificent Sir William Turner stained glass window. We all then drove inland from the coast to Yarm where in the commanding Hotel gardens of Judges the sun shone and the Champagne corks popped, as for Paul and Catharine so happy on their wedding day we will wait to see if the children speak Galic or Welsh or both.

Murray-Dixon

The short carriage ride from Chapel Close to St Marks Church Marske by Sea North Yorkshire was for Carolyn delightful upon a warm summers day while Simon was sitting patiently within the church with their friends and family. Rev David greeted the Bridle party with his usual karma and went on to perform a wonderful service enhanced by the magnificent organ playing of the maestro Mike Addison. Naturally the dress design and the makeup was to perfection and the ladies all looked beautiful within however, not one could hold a candle to the radiance of Carolyn who performed her part in walking up the isle with grace and presence. Later we went to Guisborough Prior for pictures and closed the day in the repose of the vaulted Gisborough Hall Hotel.

Victoria & Mark Clapton

St Aidans Church Boosbeck seated at the very foot of the North Yorkshire national park hosted the occasion of one of the happiest weddings the Village has seen for many a day. Eighty guests plus what seemed like half the village filled the church as Vicky processed down the long and ancient Aisle. The Bride and Groom travelled in style to the reception in two matching open top Beetle cars then at the reception Dunsley Hall near Whitby, we all enjoyed the sunshine within the gardens sipping Champagne while the Grandparents sat in the lounge drinking a pot of fine English Tea. The children especially Olivia aged 4 so very nearly stole the day but Vicky looked so radiant in her lovely wedding dress that every mans heart within the church was broken as she looked into Mark's eyes and said. "I do".

Wilson-Patton

The Grinkle Park Country Hotel formed the beautiful picturesque setting to gather the two families of Rachel and Simon together, Grinkle is nestled in the north corner of the Yorkshire Moors near Whitby it is famous for its cellar of rich wines and fine ales. Rachel with her super model figure commanded the occasion of beauty. That afternoon in the heat of a perfect summers day we all relaxed on the vast lawns of Grinkle sipping ice cold Champaign while a string quartet performed Mozart, Bach and Andrew Lloyd Webber classics the music drifted and wove a rich tapestry of togetherness highlighted by the super humour of Simon the Groom who with his new wife upon his arm looked very pleased with his days work.

Tosh-Bezance

St Cuthbert's Marton, one of the oldest churches in the North Riding of Yorkshire could not have seen a more Beautiful Bride in Deborah. She sparkled and shone with a smile that had bought her the world in the arms of Richard. What a lucky man Richard was to gaze into the eyes of his Bride under the magnificent Norman arch of the Church alter, the words "I do" and the passion behind them will be remembered for a long time by the gathered friends and family. As the Bride and Groom left the church by the vaulted gate the confetti cascaded down the steps, this was one of the many highlights, a wonderful day which thanks to the hospitality of the parents every on enjoyed, thank you Linda.

Gisborough Hall April 16th and the day was set by Simon driving to the wedding in the most spectacular Humbie we have ever seen. Nicola with her fantastic model figure got ready in the Lord Gisborough Suit a hotel apartment to die for with the most wonderful plumbing,. Needless to say the dress was wonderful as she graced us with her style and a smile which melted her fathers heart as she entered the room for photographs. Barry and Kath truly spoilt their little girl this day, Nicola radiated pride in her family and the Brides maids. Simon meanwhile stood down in the hotel trembling with anxiety not for what he was about to do in marring his lovely Nicola, Simon like us all wanted to make this such very special day for his Bride. Truly it was a wonderful day one which I mirrored many years ago when I photographed Simon's parents wedding John and Valda. To be able to see two such lovely people marry in such a resplendent setting must be a magic moment in any parents lives.

Smith-Davis

Upon a beautiful spring day at Saltburn by Sea we gathered for a special wedding, nestled at the head of the Valley gardens is Rushpool Hall a majestic hotel looking resplendent being framed on all sides by hosts of dancing daffodils. Guy Davis delivered the words 'I do' with pride and passion as he looked into the eyes of his new wife Carol, while all around the video production team filmed the moment which every one in the room will remember with joy and happiness. A day when all the family joined in alongside the many friends, we gave them all a very warm Yorkshire welcome, the joyous atmosphere and the gushing Champaign soon dispelled any wedding day nerves, later that afternoon I took the happy couple upon location within the magnificent Rushpool Gardens and then to the beach where we thoroughly enjoyed such graphic opportunity. Quack, Quack, Quack!

Shepherd-Brudwell

Tall graceful and with a beautiful smile, Kathryn elegantly on her Mothers arm walked down the Isle of St Marks Church into the waiting arms of her husband to be Lee. A day of emotion and love, one which despite the cold chill of the North sea breeze everyone enjoyed and took part in with anticipation of great things to come. David the Vicar was magnificent as indeed was the Best Man Steven, he performed his duties admirably. Kathryn and Lee made everyones day by being so happy, the magic moment in everyones eyes was when the Bride and Groom cascaded down the church steps surrounded by swirls of confetti they were gleefully spirited away in a wonderful white Rolls-Royce to cheers of the waving crowds, will Markse by the sea ever be the same again?

The Wolviston Parish Church of St Peters was full to capacity as the Bride and Groom took their vows, a winter weddings always creates difficulty with its dark days for the photographer. However, Michele the Bride shone bountifully filling the day with her radiance, as the rain came just as we had shot the large group out side the church nobody cared. When Sean and Michele climbed into the horse drawn carriage the cheers from the villagers, guests and well wishers echoed alongside the clip clop of the horses hooves, a fabulous Bride and Groom, lovely people and a splendid day.

Louise and Mark

Today is the day we will always remember- The greatest in anyones life. We will start off the day just two people in love and end it as husband and wife. Louise and Mark enjoyed the magnificent melody of the White Rose Ladies Choir at their service in St Peter and St Paul's Church, it was a very well attended occasion with the towns people slipping into the back of the church to enjoy the celebration, at one point a family from Africa resplendent in their coloured robes dropped in to gaze upon an English wedding in the North Yorkshire village of Stokesley. The reception given at Rushpool Hal and the welcome by the guests for the Bride and Groom after their on location portraits was truly wonderful, we must thank the Brides maids for the duty of care given to the bride and in helping to make the day, and along with the rest of the wedding party friends, family and the hotel staff a truly memorable one for Louise and Mark.

The weather, the Bridle Party and indeed the occasion was one of perfection as indeed was Father David, as ever the service was magnificent. The Town Church of St Paulinus Guisborough provided the perfect setting for the celebration of the wedding between Miranda and Paul. The Bridesmaids resplendent did their best to out shine the Bride but they didn't stand a chance, Miranda positively glowed her sense of wit and presence upon the occasion of her wedding was perfect. The weather did its best to spoil the day but we managed to dodge the showers. Paul and family where waiting at the church chatting to Canon Bayldon who set the spirit for the day with his magnificent sincere family service supported by Paul on the organ and the St Paulinus Music Group. As the Bride and Groom where spirited away in the most magnificent of Vintage Roll's Royce Cars the rain came down, it stopped for the pictures at Roseberry topping and for the groups at Pinchinthorpe. A wonderful occation and a Bride and Groom who thoroughly enjoyed their day.

Spring was in everyone’s step as Leon took the hand of his Bride Claire in St Cuthbert’s Church Kirkleatham, her radiance like the snowdrops shone in the sunlight. Claire danced up the isle and into the arms of her Navy boy, all within were captured by the Brides beauty as Christopher the Vicar of St Cuthbert’s welcomed every one within the church which was full. Chris commented upon knowing Clair since she was a baby and much like Angela and Ian her parents it seemed like yesterday. Everything went to perfection and we all enjoyed some wonderful moments, have a look at the confetti shot as the bride and groom leave the church and in particular the few images of the bride, look at her smile and you will realise Clair and Leon are a couple very much in love.

Nicola & Kevin

A vale of moorland mist surrounded the iddlic Pinchinthorpe Hall the day that Kevin took the hand of Nicola, while Olwen played the piano as part of the wedding ceremony the Log fires were lit in the Hall and Bar then as the guests applauded the fulfillment of this joyous occasion the bride and groom lead them all down the isle into a very enjoyable afternoon, the photographs commanded some little time and soon everyone was enjoying the fine home brewed ales of Pinchinthorpe Hall along with magnificent food. Niki and Kevin were very much aware of the cold wet atmosphere outside on their wedding day but inside with their friends and family the warmth and affection held by all for the happy couple soon dispelled any thoughts about the inclement weather. Compliments to the Brides father for having the strength not only to give Nicola away but to sing as well during the service. This was a wedding of music, candle light and fine company enjoyed by all.

Carol looked resplendent an hour before the wedding as I captured the Bride at home pictures with a very proud father on her arm. Later on, arriving at the church, Ian the Groom to be, was seen to be more than just a little nervous. I commented to Ian that the Bride was ready and she wouldn't be late, he re-toured, "I hope not, my nerves couldn't take it". The Bride arrived on time everything was fine until we all realised the flowers had been left back at home. Twenty minuets later the beautiful Bride met her very patience Ian upon the alter. The church of St Cuthbert Upleatham is a jewel in the crown of North Yorkshire, the service by Reverend Rachel Harrison joined the two family together with a loving sincerity. The weather of the English spring bright sun shine one minute and black thunderous clouds the next was not emulated by the excited guests, who's joyous participation added so much to what was a memorably day for everyone, one I know Ian will never forget.
